Spiritually Multidimensional Psychotherapy (SMP) workshop in RIHU

Spiritually Multidimensional Psychotherapy (SMP) workshop has been taken place Since December 2015  by  Dr. Janbozorgi Associate Professor of Department of Psychology at Research Institute of Hawzah[*] and University (RIHU), the participants including two separate groups of  men and women students.

Spiritually Multidimensional Therapy (SMP)  is a novel treatment helping the client  overcoming his psychological problems, the definition of  human being is obtained from the Holy Quran and (Hadith) Traditions.

SMP considered human perception of himself, being, The origin and resurrection, assuming the client's improvement in one of the four aforementioned areas, leading the client to a good health of his psycho-spiritual dimension.

SMP considered as  a healer because the clients will end their sufferings due to the sufferings from psychological problems. SMP is said a multidimensional therapy Because both the natural and also the spiritual dimension of the client has been addressed. Each of these dimensions have also several aspects which are considered in the treatment. SMP is not only regarding the parallel dimensions of  human existence structure But also noticing to the evolution of man as a psycho-spiritual evolution so that the treatment has been set according to the clients' level of psycho-spiritual development.

SMP considered as a Spiritual treatment, since it regards the spiritual dimension as the original dimension of man, as a result, the spiritual dimension activation is suggested  as the proper way to stimulate the mental health. The principle of Divine self-regulation in this treatment shaped this treatment as a monotheistic (Tawhidi) treatment.

 Another feature of this treatment is to  coordinate the clients belief system with the self, accordingly the treatment results seem to be longstanding. This treatment is the result of over a decade researching and clinical work, and so far dozens of people  with psychological problems taking advantage of SMP. The results of the researches has been published as articles in various internal and international Congresses.

In this workshop, students will learn including : clinical interview and diagnosis , the general principles of treatment, theories of psychotherapy, psycho- spiritual diagnosis, psycho- spiritual develoment - spiritual mechanisms activation, etc.

students would practice  Spiritually Multidimensional Psychotherapy (SMP) through real clients. After the workshop, the participants will leave with a certification.
