This study aims to investigate the nature of servant leadership from Imam Khomeini's point of view in order to provide a comprehensive model. In this research, which is a fundamental exploratory-descriptive study, the thematic analysis technique is used. First, theoretical foundations are studied to collect and detect the themes associated with the servant leadership. Then the themes are extracted after examining and studying Imam's 22-volume Sahifa. The model extracted from Imam's Sahifa includes 15 comprehensive themes (leader’s intellectual paradigm and the philosophical foundations, leader's attitudes, leader's motive and intention, leader's wise principles, leader's serving behavior, the consequences and feedbacks from leader's serving behavior and their relationship), 35 organization themes, 110 main themes, and 22 sub-themes. This model is compared with some servant leader models, according to which some recommendations for future research are put forth.
