This book deals with the most important aspects of the "Tafsir methods", including the Tafsir rules, Tafsir sources, sciences required in Tafsir, and Tafsirists’ conditions. The "Tafsir method" is an intermediate part of the three main Tafir fields, with "foundations of Tafsir" before and "Tafsir method and procedures" after this part.

The first lessons discuss the principles of the Tafsir rules and then five basic rules in the Quranic Tafsir are introduced as "the concept of words at the revelation time", "rules of Arab literature", "collection of evidence"," Science and scientific as the foundation," and "types of implications ".

In the next lessons, the Quran, hadiths, literal sources, historical sources, rational data, and experimental achievements are discussed as the main sources of Tafsir and thus the sciences required by Tafsirists (literary sciences, Quranic sciences, theology, principles, Fiqh, biographical evaluation, experimental sciences, and human sciences).

The final section covers the Tafsirist’s specifications, including talents, insights, skills, states, and behaviors. The book is outlined in seventeen lessons, each of which contain "pre-organizers", "main text", "course summary", " questions", "further reflection" and "further studies".
