Throughout the time, the Holy Quran Tafsir has always been a concern for various Islamic schools of thought with different attitudes and beliefs, leading to various Tafsir trends. Although, from one perspective, such diversity and variety represents the glory and majesty of this divine book and its intertwined dimensions and layers, the unidirectional and sometimes unsystematic views to these trends has always been a concern for scholars committed to protect the supreme divine purposes.

The present book is the result of a widespread scientific considerations of a group of thinkers in the field of Quranic research on various early and latent Tafsir trends from trendological and pathological views. The first volume of the book contains an evaluation and analysis of the narrative, Salafi, Bāṭin, Sufi-mystical, Quran-oriented, and scientific movements. The logic of understanding and the Quran Tafsir as a standard article initiates this volume.
