In this work, the trend known as the rational social trend in the Tafsir of the Quran, formed in the context of the religious reformist movements of some Islamic scholars, mainly from the fourteenth century AH. Rationalism in terms of the Tafsir principles and method and socialism, as well as the concerns for social macroeconomic issues, including both political and cultural issues in terms of their Tafsir orientation and trend are what distinguishes this trends from other Tafsir processes. This trend has been subject to critiques, especially from the perspective of Salafi and Ash'arism, which, despite their emphasis on some important criticisms, are not extremely effective in terms of Shiite rationalism and the pure teachings from the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) school. After reviewing the theoretical issues and trends and explaining the criticism model, this book criticizes, the foundations, methods, and outcome of this trend based on the ijtihadi Tafsir criteria.
