This book, which is the first volume of a three-volume series, is to describe, analyze and sometimes criticize Arabic works on Islam and psychology. To this end, 38 articles and 12 books are analyzed in five chapters in this book. These chapters cover the works on the Islamization or Islamification of psychology, Islamic psychology heritage and texts, psychological examination of personality in Islam, mental health from the viewpoint of Islam, the evaluation of religious behaviors, and Islamic criteria. Each author first summarizes, describes, and analyzes each entry, and then focuses on the main titles of the work. Afterwards, he presents his personal view in the form of comments and critiques. Finally, an overview of the entries to be discussed in Volumes II and III are presented, and the global conferences on Islam and psychology are also listed.
