The philosophy of power is a rational and partly sociological investigation of power and its nature, its evolution in various societies, especially Islamic and Western societies, sources of power, methods of power generation, its costs, power ethics, containment of power, and legitimacy of power. In this study, the focus is on rational attitudes along with the empirical samples and revelatory guidelines. This book is developed as a textbook for undergraduate students in political sciences in a series of lessons on "political thought in Islam."
