An Introduction to the Quran Vovabulary Knowledge
This work is organized in two sections. The first section contains nine chapter and deals with the theoretical discussions about the Quran vocabulary by addressing the following topics in detail: Semantic sources of the Quranic words, the role of sequences, verbal commonalities, opposites, facets and isotopes, spiritual commonalities, polysemy, different Arabic words with Farsi roots, and dialects of the Arab tribes. In this section, some Quranic examples are presented to show the practical aspects of the topics and make it enjoyable for the readers.
The second section of the book is devoted to the semantics of the five basic words: faith fear, sin, suspicion, quench, and Resurrection. In the semantic terms of these words, the main focus was on Arabic culture and the Holy Quran, so that a master student could systematically, with reflection and precision, approach the meaning of the word by applying the words lexically and relying on the meaning of the verses containing that word.
