Epistemology as a branch of philosophy is placed at the center of the contemporary philosophy. Before focusing on the outside world, we must first understand the rules of the mind. The following relevant Ma’refat (i.e. episteme) questions can be referred to the Quran and answered according to the verses: what is divine episteme? Is it possible to acquire divine episteme? What are its resources and tools? What methods can be used to acquire episteme? And what is its scope? In the Quran, there are more than seventy epistemological words, and the verses, in addition to conventional episteme, have also considered the supra- episteme. The Quran makes it possible for humanity to acquire episteme. According the verses of the Quran, the sources of episteme are nature, human nature, and heavenly revelation, and the acquisition of episteme is possible through sensory, rational, and inner methods. The verses also introduce some instruments to reach such knowledge, including vision, hearing, and touch. Furthermore, the Quran regards the scope of knowledge to be limited. The overall achievements of this book show that the Quranic epistemological system is completely different from the Western epistemological system as the Quran adopts a special view regarding each of the epistemic issues.
