کلان‌طرح «بازسازی و تحلیل منابع تاریخی مفقود شیعه تا قرن پنجم» طرحی است که به‌ روشی علمی، بخشی از منابع تاریخی مفقود شیعه را که تنها گزارش‌های پراکنده‌ای از آنها باقی‌مانده، بازسازی می‌کند و سپس به تحلیل و بررسی جوانب مختلف سندی و متنی آنها می‌پردازد. جمع‌آوری و تنظیم علمی آنها، شخصیت‌شناسی مؤلف، اهمیت و بسترشناسی موضوع، تحلیل سندی و متنی منبع بازسازی‌شده، رویکرد مؤلف به‌موضوع، تبیین مکتب تاریخ‌نگاری مؤلف و نیز مقایسه‌ منبع بازسازی‌شده با منابع مشابه برای شناخت تشابهات و تمایزات تاریخ‌نگاری شیعه و اهل‌سنت از مؤلفه‌های مهم این طرح است. اولین پژوهش این کلان‌پروژه به‌مباحث نظری بازسازی و قواعد علمی آن اختصاص یافته است. پژوهش‌های بعدی به بازسازی منابع مفقوده مورخان شیعه تا قرن پنجم خواهد پرداخت. موضوعات این مجموعه عبارت‌اند از: سیره نبوی، تاریخ اهل‌بیتD تاریخ تشیع، قیام‌ها و مقاتل آل ابی‌طالب. از این مجموعه، سه متن درسی تولید خواهد شد که به تاریخ نگاری و منبع‌شناسی شیعه اختصاص خواهد یافت.

The grand project of "Reconstruction and analysis of the missing historical sources of Shia until the fifth century" is a project that, in a scientific way, reconstructs part of the lost historical sources of Shia, of which only scattered reports remain, and then analyzes and examines their various documentary and textual aspects. Collecting and organizing them scientifically, the personality of the author, the importance and context of the subject, the documentary and textual analysis of the reconstructed source, the author's approach to the subject, the explanation of the author's historiographical school, and also the comparison of the reconstructed source with similar sources to understand the similarities and differences of history. Shia and Sunni writing is one of the important components of this plan. The first research of this grand plan, is dedicated to the theoretical issues of reconstruction and its scientific rules. The next researches will deal with the reconstruction of the missing sources of Shiite historians until the fifth century. The topics of this collection are: Prophetic biography, history of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), history of Shiism, uprisings, and killed of Al Abi Talib. From this collection, three textbooks will be produced, which will be dedicated to Shia historiography and sources.
